13 x 13 Art Journal Page Peace Love Calm

I really enjoy creating these small 13 x 13 cm art journal pages.  Gives me the opportunity to let myself be creative for a little while.  I love playing around with my art and craft materials.  It makes me feel peaceful and calm inside.  The Dylusion Spray Inks are just devine.  They are so great to use with stencils to make a background.  The stamp set I used here today for this project is called: Inspirational Flight by Kaszazz.

  3. I love your piece and I love doing small art like that sometimes too. It just "screeches an itch" when I don't have time to do bigger things!

    1. Maron, That is exactly how I feel. I often don't have the time to do bigger things. Even I would like to. But when I don't create I get withdrawal symptoms. I get this strong yearning inside of me that I want to create. And this feeling gets stronger and stronger when I don't act on it. By creating these small projects I have found a way to tame this feeling inside of me. Every time I create something. Even when it is small I always feel more peaceful and calmer and happier again inside.

    1. Thank you Vicki, I love playing with layers. It is always a surprise what the end result will be. Pages often turn out totally different in the end as what they looked like with the first layers.

    1. Hi Moongirl, thank you I used Alcohol markers to colour the bird. They are only a recent purchase to my stash of art and craft materials. I really love them for colouring in stamped images. Their colours are so nice and vibrant.
